TEAM SANDY BODNAR
Team Sandy Bodnar is the mother/daughter duo of Sandy Bodnar and Rayissa Palmer with Re/Max Professionals on The Kingsway. Together, they combine the best of real estate expertise, marketing experience, staging know-how, and fantastic customer service.
What Makes This Team Different?
For many people, buying or selling their home is the largest transaction they'll make in their lives. That process can be either smooth, easy, and exciting or confusing, frightening, and discouraging. A great realtor can help you navigate that experience so that is an enjoyable one. They should be your leader through the process, combined with that wise old relative who's been there, done it all, and gives great advice. Throw in a bit of a professor who's educated and knowledgable, and a dash of a comedian to get you through any rough patches. And mix it all up with a great sales and marketing team so they can get you the best deal possible. With Team Sandy Bodnar, you get a bit of all of that and even more. We thrive on findng our buyers that house that fits their needs and becomes their new home. And we strive to work hard with all our sellers to maximize their home's offerings so that the home shows to its best possible potential.
Home Staging
Team Sandy Bodnar offers our clients the home staging expertise of Chique and Unique Home Staging http://www.custaging.com . We will help you get your home ready for sale by providing expert staging advice and recommendations to make sure your home stands out among other houses for sale in your area.
Expert Support Team
Whether working with buyers or sellers, we have a team of experts we work with including marketing professionals, mortgage brokers, home repair experts, painters and others that my clients benefit from. In addition, I use extensive tools and support sevices from Re/Max including advertising programs and referral/relocation services.
Choosing Your Realtor
Choosing a realtor should be about the best fit for you. You should have full confidence in your realtor and their experience as well as feeling comfortable working with that person or team. Much like interviewing for a job, you may want to interview your real estate professional to find the best one, just as they should be interviewing you to make sure what they offer and what you require is a good fit.
Buying or selling your home can be a stressful time for many people. Your realtor should minimize that stress and indeed, bring confidence, fun, and even excitement to the process.
About Sandy Bodnar
"For many people, it takes years for them to discover their career passion in life. For me, I discovered my career passion over 30 years ago when I first became a realtor. Guiding my buyers and sellers through the home buying and selling process is rewarding for both them and for myself." Sandy Bodnar
Sandy has over thirty years of real estate experience in Canada and the US. For the last twenty years, she has worked in the Toronto West communities and has emerged as a favorite realtor among clients and other realtors. With a passion and a knack in helping her clients sell and buy their homes, Sandy continues to grow her skills with educational courses, meeting with other experts, and keeping abreast of the Toronto real estate trends as well as latest staging trends.
Over the years, Sandy has worked hard and been fortunate to have received many “Top Sales” awards. She's also been featured on Microsoft/NBC Television netowrk showcasing her expertise and understanding in dealing with special situations such as divorce and relocation.
In addition, she is a recipient of the Re/Max International Hall of Fame Award – a distinction reserved only for those Re/Max Associates who have consistently achieved extraordinary sales levels. Out of 100,000 Re/Max Associates in over 60 countries, only 1% have realized this accomplishment.
When Sandy's not in Toronto West, working with her clients to help them buy or sell a home, you can find her at her cottage in the summer, elbow deep in rich soil as she plants and maintains her gardens or relaxes on the deck in the summer afternoons. She also enjoy traveling with her husband either on day trips or vacations. And to relax at home, she has her two "boys" to entertain her, Ashez her three year old Maine Coon cat and Bingo her new kitten.

About Rayissa Palmer
"My whole career has always been about the customer experience – what influences it and how to make it better. I'm thrilled to be able to continue pursuing that passion in helping my clients find the home they've always wanted or to make their house as marketable as possible to help them sell quickly and at a great price." Rayissa Palmer.
Rayissa has over fifteen years of marketing, advertising, and branding experience in Canada, the US, and Puerto Rico. Her main focus had been on helping companies tell their story to consumers and to solve their business problems while increasing customer satisfaction through effective marketing solutions. She has worked for and with many industry leaders including Transamerica Life Canada, Bank of America, ING, SunTrustMortgage, and Pacific Life Insurance Company.
Early on, Rayissa was intrigued by understanding consumer behavior and explored this further as a Managing Director with a boutique marketing firm called RED F. She used this experience in and out of the corporate world and most recently, with her marketing and staging clients at Team Sandy Bodnar's sister company, Chique and Unique Home Staging, always trying to increase their positive customer experience.
After years of having a ringside seat to her mother's interesting, exciting, and challenging career in real estate, Rayissa decided to take the plunge. After receiving her real estate license, she is continually educating herself through certified real estate classes, in-field research, and extensive market research to increase her real estate knowledge and expertise.
When Rayissa is not helping her clients find or stage a home in Toronto West, you can find her Latin ballroom dancing or making quick trips down South during the colder months or in warmer months, giving great barbecue parties at the cottage or biking the Bruce Trail.
